Hayes has been involved in all aspects of networking, telecommunications, and infrastructure related projects including design, procurement, implementation, maintenance and support of local, metropolitan and wide-area networks. Hayes continues today to provide networking services to all state agencies in Florida.
Hayes provides Internet access to state agencies as a sub-contractor on the State of Florida Internet Access contract (SoFIA), IT Hardware Contract, IT Consulting/Services Contract. Hayes served millions of users in the Florida educational community as the prime contractor for the FIRN2 Internet access network and also serves state and local government agencies as part of the MyFloridaNet state network.
Hayes is a prime contractor for the ITN 8 VPN contract providing wireless hot spots in Tallahassee, and for Virtual Private Networking connectivity to the state intra-net. These VPN services are used by law enforcement officials, first-responders, service providers and all others requiring access to sensitive state informational resources.
Hayes is the sole subcontractor for Avaya for the state of Florida's STEPS contract for VoIP. In addition, Hayes has implemented complete solutions for voice, video and data wiring in newly built and renovated schools in the state.
